This is a large and imposing giant spider miniature sculpted in a forward-lunging, attacking posture — forelegs raised and spread wide, chelicerae open and ready to strike. The sculpt carries real menace in its stance: the cephalothorax is low and aggressive, while the bulbous, heavily textured abdomen fills the rear of the model with satisfying visual weight. The abdomen is banded with what appear to be armoured or chitinous segmented plates, giving the creature a more formidable, battle-hardened quality beyond a simple giant spider — this is something that has been trained, equipped, or bred for war.
The legs are long, angular, and sharply pointed, each tapering to a fine tip. The level of surface detail across the leg joints and body segments rewards careful painting — washes and drybrushing will pick out the natural breaks in the chitin beautifully. With a 51mm base footprint, this is a Large creature on the tabletop and commands the space accordingly.
