This Giant Spider miniature from La Louve 3D is a thoroughly unsettling piece of monster design. The sculpt captures a bloated, heavily textured arachnid body bristling with spines and nodular growths across every limb, conveying the kind of alien wrongness that makes even experienced adventurers check the ceiling. A smaller spider — a spiderling or scout — nestles beneath the larger body, adding narrative depth and hinting at something worse: where there is one, there are many. The pose is wide and low, all eight legs splayed across a flat round base, giving the impression of a creature that has settled and is utterly in control of its ground.

Encounter Hook:
The ranger finds the first cocoon at the edge of camp — humanoid in shape, still warm. Before she can call out, the spiderling drops from the branch above her, and the treeline erupts with movement. Something much larger is threading itself between the trunks towards the firelight, and it is not moving with any urgency at all.
Scaled to 32mm. Supplied unpainted and ready for priming. The model and base are separate pieces, designed to be attached with a small amount of glue — note that this sculpt is designed to interact with its base, so the decorative base is recommended for the best display result. Minor imperfections from the printing process are possible; any residual marks are easily addressed before painting.
