Giant spiders are a staple of dungeon ecology for good reason: they hunt in silence, strike from above, and leave their prey wrapped and waiting. This bundle from Yasashii Kyojin Studio captures that threat across five distinct sculpts — active hunters with legs spread wide in ambush stance, one descending on a silk thread from above, and two densely webbed egg sac or cocoon terrain pieces that tell a story of things already caught. The spiders themselves show excellent anatomical detail — textured abdomens, segmented legs with fine joint definition, and credible arachnid proportions that will paint up beautifully with a wash-heavy technique. Encounter Hook:
The party pushes deeper into the silk-choked ruin when a ranger spots it — a humanoid shape cocooned against the far wall, chest still faintly rising. Before anyone can reach it, a shadow drops from the ceiling on a single thread, and three more shapes detach from the walls. The cocoon wasn't a victim. It was bait.
