This is pose 02 of our Giant Spider range from Yasashii Kyojin Studio, and it's a striking addition to any Dungeon Master's creature roster. The sculpt captures that particular quality of arachnid menace — the swollen abdomen, the spiny segmented legs spread wide in a low hunting stance, and the thick, textured cephalothorax that speaks to something that has been lurking in deep places for a very long time. Three different angles of the same sculpt reveal the full weight and silhouette of this creature: from front-on, it reads as an oncoming threat; from the side, the bulbous egg sac and splayed legs give it real territorial mass; from above and behind, the spiralling texture on the thorax adds biological detail that rewards close inspection and holds paint beautifully.

Whether you're running a drow lair beneath a city, a silk-choked forest ruin, or a Underdark passage gone badly wrong, this mini carries the atmosphere instantly. Giant Spiders in D&D 5e are deceptively capable — web attacks, poisonous bites, and spider climb make them a legitimate threat to low-level parties and a memorable environmental hazard at any tier. As a display piece, that pale grey resin base colour lends itself to everything from chalky bone-white to deep forest black or sickly Underdark green.

Well suited to adventurers who:

  • Need reliable monster minis for dungeon, cavern, or forest encounters
  • Are building a drow or Underdark-themed campaign and want tactile table presence
  • Enjoy painting arachnid creatures — the segmented legs and body texture give excellent detail for drybrushing and washes
  • Collect creature minis for display alongside their painted adventurer figures

Encounter Hook:
The rogue spots it first — a single silk thread crossing the passage at shin height, still trembling. Before anyone can speak, the ceiling drops. Eight legs. Webbing everywhere. And from somewhere further in the dark, the sound of more.

Supplied unpainted and ready for priming. Scaled to 32mm. Minor support marks may occasionally be present as part of the printing process — these are easily cleaned up and do not affect the overall quality of the sculpt. Each piece is quality checked before despatch.
