This Giant Skeleton from Epic Miniatures is no mere shambling bone pile dragged from a crypt — it is a warrior preserved in death at its most commanding. Mounted on a large 51mm base, the sculpt stands well above standard 32mm miniatures, immediately establishing its presence as a boss-level threat or elite undead guardian.

The figure is clad in layered plate armour — segmented pauldrons, a ridged breastplate whose surface recalls exposed ribs, articulated waist armour, and a sweeping armoured skirt — all rendered in impressive detail. A crested helmet with a dramatic swept plume crowns the bare, grinning skull beneath. In one gauntleted hand it raises a heavy crossbow to its shoulder, cocked and ready to fire. The other arm rests against a massive tower shield, scarred and battered, with skeletal fingers curled around its edge. A trio of skulls clusters at the base of the figure, reinforcing the grim trophy-keeper aesthetic.

The rear of the sculpt is equally considered — the layered back armour, the crossbow mechanism, and the articulated greaves are all cleanly detailed and will reward careful brushwork. Whether you paint this in classic bleached bone and tarnished iron, or take it in a more dramatic direction with verdigris or necrotic glow effects, there is ample surface texture to bring out with a wash.
