This is no common vermin — the Giant Rat King is a Large-sized sovereign of the underworld, sculpted with the gravitas of a true throne-room monster. Crouched low on a detailed cobblestone base, he fills the space with undeniable presence: a broad, powerful frame draped in layered leaf-and-scale armour, a braided rope belt cinched at the waist, and a flowing cloak of scalloped feathers or scales fanning out behind him like a living crown.

In one outstretched forearm he thrusts a heavy ceremonial staff — a long shaft capped with a wheel-like cross motif, ornate and authoritative. His leonine face, framed by a dramatic ruff of textured fur or feathers, is caught mid-growl or mid-decree, and his digitigrade clawed feet are planted firmly on the stone beneath him. The sculpt carries exceptional detail throughout: every layer of armour, every lock of mane, every claw on those grasping hands is rendered with real depth.

The inset thumbnail also reveals a companion piece — a smaller snail-like creature accompanied by a blue gemstone, suggesting this may be part of a broader set or encounter group.

At Large size, the Rat King makes an imposing centrepiece encounter — a monster worthy of a full session's buildup, or a memorable BBEG lurking at the heart of a thieves' guild or plague-ridden undercity.
