Nilth is no ordinary dragon. This is a creature of fractured minds and violated psyches, a psionic predator that hunts not with tooth and claw alone, but with the raw, invasive force of telepathic domination. The sculpt captures Nilth mid-stalk — leaning forward on its haunches, wings half-spread, long sinuous tail coiling behind it. Its maw hangs open to reveal a mass of writhing tentacle-like protrusions, while twin glowing eyes burn with cold psionic light. Jagged crystal formations erupt from its body and base, suffused with that distinctive violet-purple energy that marks a mind-touched entity. A second curling horn spirals upward from the crown of the skull, and the texture across the scaled hide and membranous wings is captured in extraordinary detail throughout.
The sculpt is presented on a scenic rocky outcrop base that integrates fully with the model, with the dragon's feet and tail wrapping naturally into the terrain. Whether you're using Nilth as a campaign boss, a Far Realm-adjacent horror, or as a showpiece on your display shelf, this is a miniature that commands attention from every angle. Equally suited to gaming encounters and collector displays.
Well suited to adventurers who:
- Need a psionic or Far Realm-themed dragon for a D&D 5e or TTRPG campaign
- Are building an Underdark or aberrant-horror encounter with serious visual presence
- Want a large-scale centrepiece boss monster that doubles as a display piece
- Love painting psionic energy effects — the crystal formations and glowing eyes are made for OSL techniques
Encounter Hook:
The party has been hired to retrieve a scholar last seen researching the crystalline ruins beneath the Thornwaste — but when they descend, they find his notes scattered, his colleagues catatonic, and something vast crouched among the glowing spires, its eyes already fixed on the entrance the adventurers just came through.
Details
Nilth is supplied at 32mm scale. The model and scenic base are separate pieces, designed to be attached with superglue — the model interacts with the base in a way that looks its best when assembled together. Supplied unpainted and ready for priming. As with all hand-finished prints, minor imperfections may occasionally occur; any small marks or remnant support points are easily tidied up before painting.
