This is Ghoul 08, the eighth sculpt in Novaminis' characterful ghoul range — and one of the most unsettling of the lot. Where lesser undead shamble blindly, this ghoul is coiled with predatory intent. One clawed hand rakes upward across its own gaunt face, knotted dreadlocks hanging lank over hollow cheeks and hollow eyes. The other arm trails low, those elongated, scythe-like fingers splayed and ready. Tattered wrappings hang from its emaciated frame — stitched scraps of something that was once burial cloth — giving it just enough history to make it worse. It isn't shambling. It's waiting.

In D&D 5e, ghouls are CR 1 undead with paralysing claws and an insatiable hunger — and in numbers, they are genuinely terrifying. Ghoul 08's pose captures that particular moment of stillness before the sprint: the twitch of a creature that hasn't quite decided whether to flee or feed, and whose hunger is going to win. Equally at home leading a pack encounter in a crypt or lurking at the edge of a necromancer's court, this sculpt rewards both gaming and display. Painted, those deep anatomical shadows and the fine stitching on the burial wrappings will sing.

Supplied at 32mm scale. Available with or without a plain black base — the base arrives unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. Minis are supplied unpainted and ready to prime. Supports are removed before dispatch; as with all high-detail resin work, minor marks are occasionally possible and can be cleaned up with ease.
