This is Ghoul 02 from Yasashii Kyojin Studio, and it is one of the most viscerally unsettling undead sculpts you will find at 32mm scale. The creature is rendered in a forward-stalking crawl, sinewy musculature stretched taut across an emaciated frame, clawed hands splayed wide and pressed into the ground. Its bald head is craned forward, mouth agape, drool trailing from the jaw — the posture of something that has long since abandoned any pretence of humanity. Every cord of muscle and protruding joint tells the story of a thing driven entirely by ravenous compulsion.
As a second pose in the Ghoul range, this sculpt complements Ghoul 01 brilliantly for Dungeon Masters who want a pack of these horrors to descend on their players from multiple angles. Encounter Hook:
The party is ambushed mid-rest in the necromancer's sub-vault — torches snuffed by a gust from a hidden shaft — and something begins moving towards them across the stone floor, breathing in short wet bursts, claws clicking in the dark.
Scaled to 32mm. Available with or without a plain black base; the base is supplied unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. Supports are removed before dispatch, though minor marks from the printing process may occasionally be present — these are easily tidied up before priming. Supplied unpainted and ready for priming and painting, or use straight from the box.
