This is pose 01 of our Ghoul range by Novaminis, and it captures everything that makes ghouls genuinely unsettling at the table. Rather than the lurching, broken gait of a common zombie, this sculpt shows a creature with predatory intent — haunched low, claws splayed wide, its rusted chain hanging loose across a torso wrapped in ragged, cross-stitched cloth. The elongated fingers are the kind that leave marks, and the wide-jawed maw with its needle-like teeth tells your players exactly what kind of night they're in for. Pointed ears push through lank, matted hair, hinting at what this creature once was before hunger and rot claimed it.
In D&D 5e, ghouls are among the most tactically threatening low-CR undead — their paralysing claws can lock down even experienced fighters, and a pack of them in tight corridors becomes a horror story very quickly. This sculpt brings that threat to life with real character, equally at home on a game table mid-encounter or as a centrepiece of a Ravenloft-inspired display shelf.

Encounter Hook:
The party tracks a missing grave-robber into the old ossuary beneath the cathedral — and finds his lantern still burning, his satchel abandoned mid-corridor, and three sets of claw marks on the stone where he made his last stand. Then, from somewhere deeper in the dark, something exhales.
Scaled to 32mm. Available with or without a plain black display base — the base ships unattached and can be fixed in place with a small amount of glue. Each piece is individually checked before despatch; minor marks from support removal are possible but easily tidied with a hobby file or fine sandpaper. Supplied unpainted and ready to prime.
