Description

It moves before you hear it — a pale, hunched shape with burning red eyes and a tongue already tasting the air where your blood will fall.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

The Ghast and Ghoul are among the most viscerally unsettling creatures in any undead encounter roster. This sculpt by Monster Atlas captures that predatory wrongness with real conviction: the creature crouches low, arms splayed and clawed fingers spread wide, body coiled like something about to pounce. The elongated serpentine tongue lolls from a fanged mouth frozen mid-leer, and the cracked, ashen skin tells the story of something once humanoid now driven entirely by hunger. Dark veining traces across the skull, and the eyes — amber-red and hollow — stare forward with awful focus. Ragged wrappings bind the forearms and shins, the only remnant of whatever this thing once wore.

Whether you're statting it out as a paralysing Ghast (CR 2, Stench, Paralysing Touch) or a leaner Ghoul haunting a city undercroft, this miniature carries the threat before a single dice roll is made. Equally arresting on a display shelf as it is in the middle of a dungeon tile, it rewards a layered paint scheme — cold grey-blues, deep shadowing in the recesses, and a contrast wash across those cracked veins will bring the sculpt fully to life.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Need undead enemies that visually unsettle players as much as their stat blocks do
  • Are building graveyard, catacomb, or undercroft encounter sets
  • Want a Ghoul or Ghast mini that doubles as a striking display piece
  • Are painting undead warbands or a necromancer's retinue

Encounter Hook:
The party is hired to investigate a string of disappearances in the tanner's quarter — but when they descend into the flooded basement of the last victim's home, they find three Ghouls crouched over something that used to be the missing night watchman, and one of them is already turning to look.

Details

Supplied at 32mm scale. The model and base are separate pieces — attach with superglue. The decorative base is recommended, as the pose interacts naturally with it. Arrives ready for priming and painting, or use straight from the box as an unpainted grey miniature.
