Description
Every town has a man like George — calloused hands, a craftsman's eye, and a quiet suspicion of anyone who asks too many questions.

- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
George Tanner is sculpted mid-work, seated on a low folding stool with a piece of leather pressed against a cobbler's last, hammer in hand and brow furrowed in concentration. He's an older man — bald on top with wisps of hair at the sides, muscular arms left bare beneath a worn open vest, and heavy apron-wrapped legs tucked into rough work boots. The detail on this sculpt is exceptional: every tool pouch on his belt is individually rendered, the lacing on his leather vest runs in crisp relief down his back, and the folds of scrap hide underfoot give the base a real sense of place. This is a man with a trade, a history, and something he'd rather not talk about.
Whether he's the honest craftsman who remembers the boots of the man who passed through three nights ago, a fence operating behind the veneer of legitimate work, or simply a hard-working NPC who grounds your settlement in something real — George brings the kind of lived-in authenticity that elevates any fantasy town encounter. He works equally well on the tabletop and as a display piece for collectors who appreciate finely crafted character sculpts.
Well-suited for adventurers who:
- Need a named, characterful NPC to anchor a town or market district
- Run urban or low-fantasy campaigns where the commoners feel as real as the heroes
- Want a quest-giver, reluctant witness, or morally ambiguous contact with genuine personality
- Are building a display diorama of a medieval settlement or market scene
- Appreciate seated, working-pose miniatures that break from the usual combat stances
Encounter Hook:
The party needs information about a stolen shipment of goods — the last known recipient was a tanner on the edge of town. When they find George, he doesn't look up from his work. He just says, quietly, that he reckons folk who ask about other folk's deliveries tend to have shorter lifespans than folks who mind their own. He keeps hammering. The leather is very good quality. They weren't expecting that.

What's included:
George Tanner is supplied at 32mm scale (our standard). A plain black base is included and attaches easily with a small amount of glue. If you'd like a decorative base, select that option at checkout and drop us a note with your preferred style. Supports are removed as standard; as with all hand-finished miniatures, minor marks may occasionally be present and are straightforward to clean up. George arrives fully cured and ready for priming and painting — or use him straight from the box for your next session.
