Description

It doesn't roar, doesn't growl, doesn't give any warning at all — it simply fills the corridor, and by the time the torchlight catches it, someone's already inside.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

The Gelatinous Cube is one of the great icons of dungeon ecology — a creature so absurd in concept and so genuinely terrifying in execution that it has haunted D&D players for decades. This sculpt from La Louve 3D captures that slow, dripping menace beautifully: cascading pseudopod-like folds of translucent ooze spill outward from a roughly cubic core, the whole form looking simultaneously organic and utterly alien. The surface texture is rich with detail — layered drips and trailing wisps of gelatinous matter giving the impression of constant, slow movement even when sitting still on the table.

Whether you're running it as a wandering dungeon hazard, a trap-in-itself guarding a forgotten vault, or a genuinely unsettling boss encounter in the Underdark, this miniature does the work. It's equally at home on a display shelf, where those draping folds of sculpted ooze catch the light in deeply satisfying ways.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Run dungeon-crawl campaigns and want iconic threats on the table
  • Need a striking, conversation-starting piece for their display shelf
  • Enjoy painting unusual textures — translucent effects, wet-blending, and OSL all sing on this sculpt
  • Want a classic D&D monster rendered with genuine craft and character

Encounter Hook:
The party has been tracking a missing merchant for two days. They find him — or rather, they find his boots, his coin purse, and his map, all suspended perfectly intact inside the slow-moving mass blocking the corridor ahead. The Cube has been here for years. The dungeon grew around it.

Details

Supplied at 32mm scale. The model and base (if a base option is selected) are separate pieces and can be attached with a small amount of glue. A decorative base is recommended — some sculpts interact with the base in ways that enhance the overall composition. Ready to prime and paint straight out of the box, or display as-is.
