Description

It does not speak. It does not warn. The Gatekeeper of Syelden simply turns its many faces toward you — lion, eagle, ox, and human — and waits to see if you are worthy of passage.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

The Cherubim is not the wide-eyed infant of Renaissance paintings. In the oldest traditions, a cherub is a terrifying composite being — a living throne, a divine sentinel, a creature whose very form defies mortal comprehension. This sculpt from DM Stash's Hell at Heaven's Gate collection leans fully into that ancient dread. Four distinct faces gaze outward from a central form, each one carrying its own expression of divine authority. Vast feathered wings spread wide above, layered and individually detailed down to each primary. Beneath the creature, an ornate geometric framework — part celestial mechanism, part prison, part gateway — forms the base, engraved with sacred seals and ringed with intricate metalwork. The whole composition is elevated on a circular plinth decorated with wings and holy symbols.

This is not a monster encounter piece in the conventional sense. It is a centrepiece — the kind of miniature that earns a gasp when placed on the table. Whether used as a divine guardian blocking passage to a celestial realm, a constructed sentinel gone horribly wrong, or an otherworldly NPC the party cannot simply fight their way past, the Gatekeeper of Syelden demands its own scene.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Need a centrepiece miniature for a divine, celestial, or planar campaign arc
  • Are running encounters involving the upper planes, fallen angels, or divine law
  • Want a display piece that commands attention on any shelf
  • Are building a boss encounter around a creature that cannot simply be overcome by force

Encounter Hook:
The party reaches the shattered gates of Syelden's celestial vault — and there it waits, hovering motionless in the archway, four faces turning slowly to regard each of them in turn. One face weeps. One snarls. One is perfectly, unnervingly calm. The fourth has no eyes at all. A voice that is not a voice speaks directly into every mind at once: "State your covenant, or be unmade."

Details

Supplied at 32mm scale. The model and its ornate base are separate pieces, designed to be attached with superglue — the base detailing is sculpted to complement the figure directly. The mini arrives unpainted and ready for priming, but carries exceptional surface detail straight from the printer.
