Description
It does not sleep — it waits, crouched upon the threshold between the mortal world and something far older, staff in hand and wings spread wide.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
This gargoyle is no mere architectural ornament. Sculpted in a low, predatory crouch, it grips a tall staff crowned with a flame or skull finial, batlike wings fanned behind it in a display of coiled menace. The surface texture reads as ancient stone — cracked, worn, and elemental — lending the figure the weight of something that has stood guard over forbidden places for centuries. Twin horns curve upward from a scowling, angular face, and the body carries a sense of barely restrained power, as though it is one provocation away from lunging.
Whether you're running it as a Gargoyle (Construct, CR 2) lurking in a crumbling cathedral, a bound sentinel for a necromancer's sanctum, or a fully awakened stone demon with a will of its own, this sculpt carries the presence of a creature that earns its encounter. It works equally well as a display piece for collectors who appreciate finely detailed creature sculpts with serious character.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Need a standout gargoyle or stone construct for a dungeon encounter or city rooftop ambush
- Are building a necromancer's lair, dark cathedral, or cursed vault and want a believable guardian
- Want a Warlock's summoned horror or an ancient elemental bound to a ruined site
- Collect creature minis and want something with genuine sculptural presence on the shelf
Encounter Hook:
The party has been tasked with retrieving a stolen relic from the upper library of an abandoned mage tower. As they reach the top floor, every carved stone figure along the walls is clutching a staff. Every one except the empty plinth in the centre of the room — and the slow scraping sound coming from the staircase behind them.
