This is pose 02 of our Gargoyle range, sculpted by Yasashii Kyojin Studio. Where some gargoyles are captured mid-flight or frozen in a sentinel stance, this one is caught in that terrible in-between moment — coiled into a predatory crouch, massive bat-like wings flared wide, one clawed hand raised as though it has just selected its next victim. The musculature is pronounced and deliberate, with deep wing-membrane detailing, curling horns, a thick tail, and talon-tipped feet gripping the ground. It radiates the kind of barely-contained violence that makes players immediately reconsider their positioning.
As a D&D Construct or stand-in for a Fiend, this sculpt works equally well as a lone ambush predator, a guardian bound to a cursed ruin, or the physical manifestation of a warlock patron's will. The crouching pose gives it an exceptional table presence — low to the ground but unmistakably threatening — and the wing spread makes it instantly readable from across the battlemat. It's just as compelling on a display shelf, where the drama of the pose catches the eye from any angle.

Encounter Hook:
The party has been hired to retrieve a stolen relic from the upper floor of an abandoned guild hall. Halfway up the stairs, they hear it — a slow, rhythmic scraping on the roof tiles directly above them, moving with far too much patience to be wind.
Scaled to 32mm. Available with or without a plain black base — the base ships unattached and can be fixed in place with a small amount of glue. Some minor imperfections from the printing process are possible; any residual marks can be cleaned up easily before priming. Each piece is fully cured and ready to paint straight away.
