Description

They said the statues on the cathedral parapet had always been there — until the night one of them blinked.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This is pose 01 of our Gargoyle range, sculpted by Yasashii Kyojin Studio, and it captures a gargoyle mid-dive — wings thrown wide, claws outstretched, tail whipping behind it as it drops from above. The anatomy is visceral and deliberate: a muscular humanoid torso twisted mid-lunge, bat-like wings with pronounced membrane veining, and taloned feet built for gripping stone — or adventurers. The horned, snarling face leaves no ambiguity about intent. This is a creature that does not lurk. It strikes.

Whether you're running an urban horror arc where the city's own architecture has turned predator, or placing this beast on a gothic dungeon shelf as a display piece, the sculpt carries real dramatic weight at any angle. A second pose is also available in our Gargoyle range if you want to vary the encounter — or overwhelm the party entirely.

A worthwhile addition for adventurers who:

  • Need a gargoyle that reads as a genuine aerial threat, not just a scenic prop
  • Are building encounters around cursed city districts, cathedral ruins, or noble estates gone wrong
  • Want a centrepiece monster that holds its own on a display shelf as much as a gaming table
  • Paint collectors drawn to a sculpt with dramatic wing membranes and deep muscle definition

Encounter Hook:
The party is hired to investigate a series of disappearances near the old Ashveil Cathedral. Three nights running, witnesses describe shapes dropping from the spire at dusk. On the fourth night, the party watches from the rooftops — and realises the gargoyles have been watching back the entire time. Four of them. And they are no longer still.

Scaled to 32mm. Available with or without a plain black base — the base ships unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. The sculpt arrives support-free and ready for priming and painting, or use it straight from the box as an unpainted grey miniature. As with all hand-finished prints, minor surface marks are possible; these are easily tidied up before painting.
