This triple-noose gallows is one of those terrain pieces that transforms the mood of an entire encounter the moment it hits the table. The elevated wooden platform features three drop-holes cut through the planking, each corresponding to one of the three rope nooses knotted and coiled overhead from the sturdy crossbeam. A side staircase leads up to the platform, its individual rungs clearly defined, giving the whole structure a sense of grim practicality. The upright posts and bracing timbers are sculpted with deep wood-grain texture throughout, adding the kind of worn, weathered character that rewards a careful drybrushed paint job.
