Description

They called themselves Gaban — one name, one coat, three very different opinions on what to do next.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

Few encounters stop a table dead in its tracks quite like the reveal of Gaban of the Coat. What presents itself as a hulking, armoured figure — helmet gleaming, longcoat billowing, sword dragging at its side — is, of course, three goblins in a trenchcoat doing their absolute best. The sculpt captures the moment perfectly: the top goblin peers over the collar with wide, gleeful menace, the middle one grips a staff with entirely too much confidence, and the whole precarious arrangement teeters forward on legs that have never quite agreed on a direction. Defeated enemies litter the base beneath them, which raises questions nobody at the table is ready to answer.

This is one of those miniatures that works equally hard as a comedic NPC, a recurring villain, or the centrepiece of an entire arc. DMs running urban intrigue, thieves' guild shenanigans, or chaotic filler encounters will find Gaban endlessly useful — and painters will relish the layered detail across the coat's texture, the expressive goblin faces, and the richly decorated base. Whether it ends up on the gaming table or the display shelf, it earns its place.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Run urban campaigns where imposter NPCs and social encounters are part of the story
  • Want a genuinely funny encounter that still carries real threat
  • Are building a rogues' gallery of memorable, characterful villains
  • Love a display piece that sparks conversation the moment someone spots it
  • Enjoy painting a sculpt with multiple focal points and expressive detail

Encounter Hook:
The merchant guild's representative has been attending council meetings for three weeks — articulate, well-dressed, and oddly short. Tonight, mid-negotiation, the party's rogue notices the figure's left hand gesturing independently of its right, and catches a pair of beady yellow eyes blinking from somewhere around the representative's midsection.

Details

Supplied at 32mm scale and also available in display size (scaled for a 4×4 base). The base comes detached and attaches easily with superglue. Some components may require light assembly. Supports are removed before dispatch, though minor marks from the print process are possible — these are simple to tidy up with light sanding.
