The Fungus Violet is one of those creatures that blurs the line between flora and threat — a latticed, seed-pod body rising on a gnarled stalk, surrounded by reaching tendrils that curl upward like fingers searching for purchase. Whether it's a passive organism in a cave system or something far more deliberate, its alien silhouette immediately signals to your players that the rules of the surface world do not apply here.
This sculpt captures that quality with real clarity. The geometric patterning on the central body gives it a structured, almost architectural quality — as though something grew this creature with intent. Paired with the sweeping tendrils and the organic, root-splayed base, it reads equally well as a hazardous plant encounter, a Myconid-adjacent organism, or a strange sentinel in a Feywild grove gone wrong.
