The Frost Sentinel is a towering undead warrior, his decayed flesh fused with jagged ice crystals that erupt from his shoulders and arms like frozen battlements. Clad in tattered chainmail and cracked plate over a leather-belted tabard, he marches with the grim purpose of something that no longer fears death — because death already tried. His gaunt, skull-like face is locked in a silent snarl, and one clawed hand reaches out as though reaching for the throat of whoever woke him from his glacier tomb. In the other, a heavy broadsword drags at his side, ready to be brought to bear. The sculpt is bristling with detail: every rusted rivet, every protruding ice shard, every fraying fur collar tells the story of a soldier who refused to stay buried.
This is pose 02 of our Frost Sentinel range from Great Grimoire — a variant with a distinct stance and expression from pose 01, making the two a natural pairing for a warden duo or a command group on the frozen battlefield. Equally well suited to gracing a display shelf as to anchoring a winter-themed encounter, this mini rewards both the painter and the Dungeon Master.

Encounter Hook:
The party crosses the Thornspine Glacier in search of a dwarven vault, only to find the entrance already guarded — by a knight in shattered armour, ice cracking from his joints with every slow, deliberate step, and a broadsword that glows with blue-white cold. He doesn't speak. He doesn't need to. He's been waiting here for three hundred years, and he has nowhere else to be.

Printed at 32mm scale. If you'd prefer a different scale, send us a message and we'll do our best to accommodate you. A decorative base is available as an option — choose from the three sculpted variants shown: the ice crystal scatter base, the bone-strewn frozen ground base, or the cracked frozen earth base with clawing hands. Please drop us a note at checkout to let us know which you'd like. All bases are supplied separately and attach easily with a small amount of glue. A plain black base is included as standard if no decorative base is selected.
