Description

When the mountain passes froze overnight and the scouts never returned, the elders knew Hrundar had woken — and that no wall of stone or spell of ward would hold him back.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

Hrundar is a frost giant sculpted with the raw, overwhelming presence these titanic warriors demand at the table. He stands in a wide, forward-lunging stance — one massive fist reaching out as though snatching at something smaller than himself, while the other arm hoists a rune-etched war hammer high overhead, ready to bring it down with bone-splintering force. His barrel chest is bare, framed by a thick, flowing beard and draped with a tattered fur cloak that billows behind him. A horned iron helm sits atop his head, giving him the look of a warlord from the oldest Norse sagas rather than a simple brute of the highlands.

The sculpt rewards painters who want to dig into texture. His fur-wrapped boots, braided beard, and the skull-and-ice-crystal scatter base beneath his feet all offer rich detail at every angle. The base itself — piled with cracked stone, skulls of past victims, and jutting ice formations — tells its own story without a word of narration needed. Three distinct viewing angles across the product images show just how much personality Primal Collectibles have packed into this piece, from the snarling jaw and ice-blue hints of his cloak lining to the runic knotwork pressed into his hammer head.

Whether you're statting him out as a frost giant jarl, a unique boss encounter in a mountain campaign, or a fearsome BBEG pulling the strings behind a raiding coalition, Hrundar commands attention the moment he hits the table.

A good fit for adventurers who:

  • Run Norse-flavoured campaigns or arctic wilderness encounters
  • Need a large, imposing boss miniature that looks the part from every angle
  • Enjoy painting challenging textures — fur, braided hair, runic stonework, and ice
  • Want a display piece that earns a double-take on the shelf
  • Play Storm King's Thunder or any giant-centric D&D adventure path

Encounter Hook

The party's guide points to a cairn of skulls at the treeline — forty of them at least, each the size of a human torso. A single set of footprints, two feet wide and pressed deep into the permafrost, leads north toward the frozen pass. The merchant convoy they've been hired to protect went north three days ago. Hrundar has been collecting tolls of his own since then.

Details

Hrundar is supplied as a single unpainted resin miniature at 32mm scale. Due to his giant-class size, he will stand considerably taller than standard humanoid miniatures on your table — expect him to tower appropriately over your adventuring party. The detailed scenic base is included as part of the sculpt. No assembly is required.
