Frost Giant Crusher by Epic Miniatures

This is a huge-scale miniature — noticeably larger than a standard 32mm figure, as befits a giant of the frozen north. The sculpt depicts a towering, barrel-chested giant striding forward with a colossal square-headed war hammer rested across one shoulder, gripped in both hands and posed mid-carry as though the weight is no burden at all. The sheer mass of the pose communicates unstoppable momentum without the figure needing to be mid-swing.
The detailing rewards a close look. Thick braided hair frames a weathered, tusked face fixed in a scowl of contempt. Layered hide armour — scaled, furred, and strapped with heavy leather — covers the torso and lower body, with iron pauldrons and knee guards giving the silhouette a heavily armoured bulk. A great flowing fur cloak trails behind, textured with individual strands across its full length. Bare, gnarled feet plant firmly on the base, grounding the figure and emphasising the creature's raw physicality. The secondary image shows the fur cloak from the rear, demonstrating the sculpt's wraparound quality.
The render indicates this is sized at HUGE — making it directly appropriate for Huge creature stat blocks in D&D 5e, representing frost giants precisely as the rules intend. Whether you're running Storm King's Thunder, a Norse-flavoured homebrew, or any campaign in which towering humanoids with terrible weapons need to announce themselves, this figure carries that moment convincingly.
Brilliant for adventurers who:
- Are running Storm King's Thunder or any giant-centric D&D campaign
- Want a physically imposing BBEG or elite warlord figure for a Norse or arctic setting
- Collect large-scale creatures for display painting as a centrepiece project
- Need a huge-category miniature that matches official D&D creature sizes
- Appreciate heavily detailed warrior sculpts with layers of armour, fur, and character
Encounter Hook: The party crests a ridge to find the village of Coldfen already burning. Standing knee-deep in the ruins, unhurried and silent, the giant scans the treeline with hammer raised — not searching for survivors, but for anyone foolish enough to still be watching. The chieftain's orders were simple: leave a message. The giant is very good at messages.
Details
This miniature is the Frost Giant Crusher, a huge-scale figure sculpted by Epic Miniatures. It is supplied as a single unpainted resin piece, ready to clean up, prime, and paint. Due to its larger footprint, we recommend a 50mm or 75mm round base, though the figure's natural stance works well with most large-format basing options.
Pairs well with giant warbands and Norse and viking campaigns — or explore more from Epic Miniatures.
Mitz rolled Charisma. Simz rolled Charisma. Both succeeded. The humans had no say in any of this.
