Foxfolk (Kitsune) Ranger - Nana Miyako by DnD Is A Woman
Description
She does not track prey — she waits, still as moonlit snow, her many tails curled around her as the arrow finds its own path home.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
Nana Miyako is a kitsune ranger sculpted with unmistakable personality: dressed in flowing robes with woven textile detail at the torso, she draws a full-sized longbow at full draw, her fox ears alert and her expression locked on a distant target. What sets this sculpt apart is the base itself — her multiple voluminous tails coil beneath and around her like a living throne, each one sculpted with individual fur texture that rewards careful painting. The balance between the serene, controlled upper body and that restless tangle of tails below speaks to a character with centuries of patience and a very short temper when provoked.
Whether you're running a campaign with East Asian-influenced lore, a Feywild border settlement, or a wilderness arc where a mysterious foxfolk guide offers the party dubious assistance, Nana Miyako carries the weight of a named character. She works equally well as a PC miniature for a kitsune ranger or arcane archer build, a powerful NPC tracker, or a collector's display piece where the tail detail can be brought to life in layered fur tones.
A good choice for adventurers who:
- Play or DM kitsune, foxfolk, or beast-race rangers in D&D 5e or other TTRPGs
- Want a multi-tailed fox character with genuine sculpt depth and display potential
- Need a compelling NPC — a guide, a rival tracker, or a trickster spirit with an agenda
- Are building a display piece that will hold its own unpainted or fully highlighted
Encounter Hook:
The party has been searching the Ashwood for three days when they find her — crouched on a mossy boulder, arrow already nocked, watching something in the treeline they cannot yet see. She doesn't look at them when she speaks: "You're louder than the thing following you. Quieter than the thing waiting ahead. I haven't decided yet which is worse."
Available at 32mm tabletop scale and 54mm display scale. The 32mm version can be ordered with or without a plain black base — the base ships unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of superglue. Each piece is printed to a high standard; supports are removed before dispatch, though minor marks from the printing process can occasionally occur and are easily tidied up before priming.
