Description

They say the Kenshi Kitsune serves no lord — only the blade, the hunt, and a grudge older than any living memory can trace.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

Clad in intricately layered lamellar armour etched with hexagonal patterns and bound with rope cord, the Kenshi Kitsune is a fox-spirit warrior who straddles the line between mortal discipline and something far older. Two sculpts are available in this range: one depicts the kitsune with their fox-spirit mask raised, sharp feline features exposed and a long hooked blade trailing behind them in a low guard stance; the other shows the mask lowered, identity concealed beneath the spirit-face, twin exotic blades held in a loose-but-ready grip. Both figures stand on cracked stone bases scattered with bramble and leaf detail — the kind of terrain that whispers of ambushes along forgotten forest roads. Each variation brings a different energy to the tabletop, and both reward a careful hand with a brush.

Whether you're fielding the Kenshi Kitsune as a ronin-style NPC, a PC pursuing the Way of the Open Hand, or a legendary rival who reappears across multiple sessions with different intentions each time, the sculpt carries the weight of a character with history. The detail across the armour — from the shoulder guards and obi-tied waist to the wrapped leg bindings — gives painters a wealth of surfaces to bring to life. Equally compelling as a display piece for collectors drawn to Eastern-influenced fantasy aesthetics.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Play Monk, Fighter, or Ranger characters with a samurai or Eastern warrior aesthetic
  • Need a compelling recurring NPC — rival, informant, or reluctant ally
  • Are building a faction of kitsune warriors, forest spirits, or ronin wanderers
  • Want a display-worthy collector's piece with exceptional armour and weapon detail

Encounter Hook:
The party has been tracking a string of assassinations across the merchant quarter — each body left with a single hooked blade-mark across the collarbone, no witnesses, no trail. On the third night, they find the Kenshi Kitsune crouched over the latest victim — not as the killer, but reading the wound, fox-mask pushed up, golden eyes scanning the darkness. She speaks first: "You're following the wrong deaths. The real target hasn't been touched yet." Whether she's telling the truth is a DC 16 Insight check the party probably won't pass.

Details

Supplied at 32mm scale. The decorative scenic base is a separate piece and attaches with superglue — the sculpt is designed to interact with the base, so we recommend keeping them together. Printed to a high standard with fine surface detail preserved throughout. Minor imperfections inherent to the printing process may occasionally occur; any residual marks are easily tidied up before priming.
