Description
Once sworn to a crusade of light, Vilnais the Ashen now walks a darker path — his vows shattered, his armour scarred, and his sword still hungry for a justice that no longer answers his prayers.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
Vilnais cuts an unmistakable silhouette on the tabletop. His layered plate armour — spiked at the shoulders, scaled across the chest, and etched with the remnants of holy sigils — speaks of a warrior who once served something greater than himself. The horned visor of his helm hides his face entirely, lending him an air of cold, unknowable purpose. One gauntleted hand is raised as if channelling the last dregs of corrupted divine power, while the other trails a heavy, rune-etched longsword low at his side. A broad, tattered cape sweeps dramatically behind him, its woven texture rendered with extraordinary detail — every thread visible when viewed from the back. He stands on a rubble-strewn base, mid-stride, as though approaching across a battlefield he has already won.
Whether you're running him as a fallen champion haunted by his own choices, a recurring antagonist who was once a trusted ally, or a player character who chose the Oathbreaker path, Vilnais brings weight and narrative presence to any scene he enters. Equally at home as a display piece or a game piece — the sculpt rewards painters and rewards the table in equal measure.
Perfect for adventurers who:- Play Oathbreaker Paladins or dark knight-themed characters
- Need a commanding BBEG or recurring villain with genuine gravitas
- Want an NPC rival whose presence tells a story before anyone speaks
- Are building a display collection of fallen or forsaken warrior sculpts
Encounter Hook:
The party arrives at the site of a razed village — and there, standing motionless in the centre of the ash, is a knight in horned armour. He turns slowly. The symbol on his breastplate is one the cleric recognises: the mark of an order that was supposedly destroyed twenty years ago. He says only: "You're too late. But then, so was I."
