Description

The armour moves, but the knight inside has long since rotted away — replaced by coiling vines that wear the steel like a second skin.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This is the second pose in our Forgotten Knight — Vine Possessed Armour range, and where the first variant carries a sense of idle menace, this pose leans into grim purpose: the hollow figure stands planted, its ivy-strangled sword driven into the earth beside it, one gauntleted claw outstretched as though beckoning — or warning. The visor is sealed shut. Whatever looked out from within it is gone. What remains is the forest's will, wearing the memory of a warrior.

The sculpt is extraordinary in its layered detail. Ivy and creeping vines have consumed the plate armour almost entirely, erupting through the joints and coiling around the crossguard of a broadsword that itself has become part of the undergrowth. The base is a tangle of leaves and roots that makes the figure feel as though it has been standing in the same cursed grove for centuries. Whether you use this as a Shambling Mound variant, an Animate Object, a haunted guardian construct, or a truly unsettling boss encounter — it brings immediate atmosphere to any table.

Well suited for adventurers who:

  • Need a distinctive guardian or boss for a cursed forest or overgrown dungeon encounter
  • Want a fey-touched animated armour that doesn't look like anything else on the table
  • Are building a Feywild-adjacent campaign arc involving corrupted knights or lost orders
  • Collect display-worthy miniatures with strong narrative presence

Encounter Hook:
The party has been hired to retrieve a paladin's ancestral sword from the ruins of Ashveil Keep. They find it — but it's lodged in the earth at the centre of the courtyard, wound through with ivy, and the armour standing over it turns its visor toward them the moment they step through the gate. It hasn't moved in a hundred years. It's moving now.

Details

Supplied at 32mm scale. The figure and decorative leaf-and-root base are separate pieces, attached with superglue — the sculpt is designed to interact with its base, so we strongly recommend using it. Arrives grey and unprimed, ready for painting or displaying as-is. Some minor imperfections from the printing process are possible; any residual marks are easily cleaned up before priming.
