Description

The armour stands upright, but the knight inside has long since gone — what remains is something older, something green, something hungry.

  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This is the Forgotten Knight — pose 01 of our vine-possessed armour range — a warrior whose plate has been claimed entirely by creeping, thorned growth. The sculpt tells a story without a single word: cracked pauldrons split by grasping tendrils, a broadsword dragged low by coiling vines, and a visored helm that hides whatever emptiness lies beneath. The detailed base is strewn with rubble and roots, suggesting a battlefield long reclaimed by nature's darker impulses.

For Dungeon Masters, this miniature sits comfortably at the intersection of Fey corruption and ancient tragedy. It reads equally well as an awakened construct, a cursed champion bound to a dying forest god, or a blighted sentinel haunting the ruins of a fallen order. The level of sculpted detail — every vine tendril, every cracked armour plate — makes it as compelling on a display shelf as it is on a battlemap.

A strong match for adventurers who:

  • Need a memorable boss or elite enemy for a Feywild or nature-corrupted campaign arc
  • Are building a haunted battlefield or ruined keep encounter
  • Want a striking display piece that doubles as a Paladin or Fighter who took a very dark turn
  • Are running a campaign involving cursed armour, animated constructs, or plant-based horror

Encounter Hook:
The party finds the knight standing motionless in the centre of a collapsed throne room, vines threading through the stonework around its feet. It does not move — until someone touches the crown resting at its feet, at which point every vine in the room tightens, the broadsword rises, and the visor turns, slow and deliberate, toward the nearest adventurer.

Scaled to 32mm. The figure and scenic base are supplied as separate pieces and attach easily with superglue — note that the base and figure are designed to interact, so the two work best together. As with all our miniatures, some minor cleanup from the printing process may be needed, though we quality-check every piece before it leaves us.
