Description

He arrived at the gala uninvited, his skull-face wreathed in living flame, candles guttering at his shoulders — and every guest agreed, without a word spoken, that he was the most important person in the room.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

Flickerbrandt is one of those rare miniatures that defies easy categorisation, which is precisely what makes him so useful at the table. Part undead aristocrat, part fire elemental, part eldritch curiosity — he strides forward in a tailored baroque coat, wax dripping from the candles that ring his collar like a grotesque ruff, while a crown of open flame rises from his skull. His bony hands are clasped with an air of studied composure, as though he has been expecting you and finds your arrival mildly beneath him. The sculpt captures an extraordinary tension between courtly elegance and horrifying wrongness — every detail, from the scrollwork on his greaves to the curled points of his jester-like shoes, reinforces the sense of a creature that once understood social graces and has retained the form without the soul.

Whether you deploy him as a recurring villain, a neutral power broker in a city of the dead, a Ravenloft-adjacent noble with fire-touched curse, or a unique construct bound to serve a long-dead master, Flickerbrandt brings an unmistakable presence to any encounter. He is equally at home on a gothic display shelf as he is at the centre of a tense negotiation scene on the tabletop.

Suited to adventurers who:

  • Need a charismatic undead NPC who unsettles players without drawing a weapon
  • Are running a gothic horror campaign — Ravenloft, a cursed city, or a macabre masquerade
  • Want a distinctive boss monster or shadowy patron figure with genuine visual gravitas
  • Enjoy painting elaborate, textured sculpts with strong focal points — the flame, the dripping wax, the baroque coat detailing
  • Collect dark fantasy miniatures for display as well as play

Encounter Hook:
The party receives an engraved invitation to the Eternal Salon — a gathering held every century in the sealed ballroom of Varnholt Manor. When they arrive, Flickerbrandt greets them by name, pours wine he cannot drink, and informs them that one of them carries something that belongs to him. He does not say what. He does not say when he intends to collect it.

Details

What's included:
Flickerbrandt is printed at 35mm scale (our standard is 32mm — if you'd prefer 32mm, just send us a message and we'll adjust). A plain black round base is included; a decorative base option is also available — if you select it, please drop us a note to let us know which of the three base styles you'd like. The base is supplied separate and attaches easily with a small amount of glue. Supports are removed before dispatch; as with all resin printing, minor marks are possible and can be tidied with standard hobby tools.
