The Flame Salamander 03 is a creature that straddles the boundary between elemental force and martial intelligence. This sculpt depicts a powerfully built, serpentine-bodied figure erupting from a roiling mass of conjured flame at its base. Tendrils of fire curl from its shoulders and crown like a living mane, and long draping filaments hang from its draconic jaw — part flesh, part inferno. In one hand it grips a long war-spear with practiced authority; in the other, flame gathers in a crackling ball of elemental energy, hinting at power held just in check. The coiled, serpentine lower body roots it to the earth even as the fire that wraps it yearns upward.

Where earlier poses focus on the creature mid-strike or at rest, this variant captures it in a moment of readied aggression — one weapon extended, one hand charging — a creature deciding whether to throw flame or drive steel. Equally at home as a guardian of volcanic ruins, an emissary of the Elemental Plane of Fire, or a boss encounter lurking in a forge-god's sanctum, it works beautifully as a centrepiece for gaming or as a display piece in any fantasy collection.

Encounter Hook:
The party descends into the caldera expecting ruins — instead they find a Flame Salamander standing vigil over a sealed obsidian vault, spear lowered and palm already alight, blocking the only path forward. It does not attack immediately. It speaks first, in the cracking tongue of Ignan, demanding to know who sent them.
Details
Printed at 32mm scale. Available with or without a plain black display base — the base arrives unattached and can be fixed with a drop of glue. Supports are removed before dispatch; as with all high-detail sculpts, minor marks from the printing process may occasionally be present and are easily tidied up at the painting stage.
