Fishfolk Artificer Mech Action by Mia Kay M3DM

Somewhere beneath the storm-wracked docks, the grinding of iron joints announced the artificer's arrival — the mech's shark-head helmet splitting wide to reveal rows of teeth, and the goggles of its pilot glowing behind them.

The Fishfolk Artificer Mech is a feast of detail for any DM running coastal, underwater, or magitech-infused campaigns. Clad in riveted plate armour and topped with a fearsome shark-jaw helmet, this construct towers over the battlefield — its claw-tipped arms spread wide in a menacing action pose. The pilot, visible beneath the helmet's gape, peers out through circular goggles, suggesting not a mindless war machine but a cunning artificer at the controls. Panel lines, bolts, and mechanical joints cover every surface, giving painters a wealth of texture to work into rust, barnacles, or gleaming ocean-forged metal.
Whether you're fielding it as a boss encounter in a sahuagin stronghold, a rogue construct in a flooded ruin, or an eccentric artificer's prized creation, this miniature carries real table presence. It works equally well as a display piece for collectors who appreciate the intersection of creature design and mechanical ingenuity.
A great choice for adventurers who:
- Run coastal, underwater, or magitech-themed D&D and TTRPG campaigns
- Need an imposing boss-level construct with a creature twist
- Want a genuinely unusual miniature for a display shelf or diorama
- Are painting a mechanised or steampunk-flavoured warband
Encounter Hook:
The harbormaster warned the party about the old drydock — three weeks ago, the dock workers stopped coming back. Now, as the party wades through knee-deep bilge water into the flooded lower bay, the grinding of iron echoes off the hull of a sunken frigate, and something enormous rises from beneath the surface.
Details
Printed at 32mm scale. The model on the detailed base is supplied as a single piece. The variant with a plain base comes with the base detached and can be secured easily with a small amount of glue. As with all resin prints, minor imperfections or trace support marks are possible — these are straightforward to clean up. Each piece is fully cured before dispatch.
