Description

He came in off the tide before dawn, rope coiled over one shoulder and a look in his eye that told you this wasn't his first run-in with something worse than bad weather.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This is pose 03 of the Fisherman range by Galaad Miniatures — and it's one that leans hard into character. He stands with a thick, twisted rope slung across his shoulders and raised overhead, his expression weathered and guarded, the kind of face that's seen squalls, sea monsters, and probably worse. His layered clothing — open-fronted jacket, belted tunic, buckled boots — speaks to a working life on the water, while the talismans and charms hanging at his chest hint that he's learned to hedge his bets against things that don't answer to nets or harpoons.

Whether you play him as a gruff contact in a dockside port, a cult-adjacent local with unsettling knowledge of the deep, or a surprisingly dangerous ambusher in a low-level coastal encounter, this sculpt gives your DM table something with real presence. He works equally well as a display piece for collectors who appreciate character-driven sculpts with strong silhouettes.

Well suited to adventurers who:

  • Need a distinctive NPC for a harbour town, fishing village, or coastal hex crawl
  • Want a morally ambiguous quest-giver who knows more than he's letting on
  • Are running sea-based campaigns or nautical one-shots
  • Collect character minis with narrative weight and strong facial detail

Encounter Hook:
The party arrives in the village of Saltmere to find the fishing fleet hasn't returned in three days. At the docks, one man is still loading rope onto a skiff — methodically, unhurried, as if he already knows what's out there. When the rogue tries to read him with Insight, she rolls a 19 and still isn't sure if he's a survivor, a lure, or something the sea sent back wearing a familiar face.

Details

Supplied at 32mm scale. The figure and base are separate pieces — a small amount of superglue will bring them together securely. As with all hand-finished prints, minor surface marks may occasionally be present and are easily addressed with light sanding before priming. The model arrives fully cured and ready for your brush.
