  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

This is pose 02 of our Fisherman range from Galaad Miniatures — a broad-shouldered, heavily built man with a thick beard and a worn, weathered look that speaks of hard seasons at sea. He holds a large cleaver-style blade horizontally across his body in a guarded stance, his expression set and unreadable. His clothing is practical and layered — sturdy boots, reinforced trousers, a belted work shirt, and wrappings around his forearms — the gear of someone who works with their hands and doesn't bother with ceremony. There's nothing ornamental about him, which makes him all the more convincing.

He's a natural fit for dockside encounters, fishing village campaigns, or any coastal settlement that needs a face with some history behind it. He could be the gruff quest-giver who knows where the smugglers unload their cargo, a local tough hired to keep strangers away from the wrong warehouse, or — if your players aren't careful — a surprisingly dangerous combatant who knows how to handle a blade. He works equally well as a display piece for collectors who appreciate character-driven sculpts with a lived-in quality.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Need a convincing dockside or fishing village NPC with genuine presence
  • Want a humanoid who could pass as civilian or turn threatening in a heartbeat
  • Are running a coastal, maritime, or low-fantasy urban campaign
  • Collect character-driven sculpts for painting projects or display

Encounter Hook:
The party arrives at the harbour in Saltmere to follow a lead on a missing merchant vessel. The fisherman on the end of the jetty hasn't looked up once since they arrived — but his grip on that cleaver shifted the moment they mentioned the ship's name. He knows something. The question is whether he'll talk, or whether he's already been paid not to.

Details

Printed at 32mm scale. Supplied unprimed and unpainted, ready for your brushwork. The miniature and base are separate pieces — a small amount of super glue will secure them. Note that some sculpts in this range are designed to interact with their decorative base, so we recommend attaching it for the best overall look. Each piece is individually checked before dispatch, though minor marks from support removal can occasionally occur and are easily tidied up.
