This Fire Giantess Queen is everything a ruler of the volcanic courts should be — commanding, armoured to the teeth, and radiating barely-contained power. Her heavily engraved breastplate is layered over a sculpted corset of interlocking armour plates, adorned with beast-head motifs at the waist. A vast fur-trimmed cloak sweeps behind her, wide enough to fill a throne room, its trailing edge pooling across the detailed base. A crown sits nestled in her cascading hair — worn not as ceremony, but as a declaration.
In her right hand she raises a conjured flame, fingers outstretched and blazing. In her left she holds a heavy warhammer, its haft wrapped and its head built for use rather than show. The combination of sorcerous fire and brute iron says everything about how she rules: through magical dominance and the credible threat of crushing violence. Every inch of this sculpt communicates authority, from the armoured greaves and furred boot-wraps to the layered pauldrons framing her shoulders.
On the gaming table she works brilliantly as a fire giant queen, a Huginn-tier warlord, a pit fiend's aristocratic ally, or the final chapter of a volcanic dungeon arc. On the display shelf she demands her own dedicated space — the sweeping cloak and craggy base give painters a genuine landscape to work with, from object source lighting on the flame to rich NMM opportunities across the armour.
Well-suited for adventurers who:
- Need a formidable fire giant BBEG for a late-campaign encounter
- Are running an Ordning-focused giant storyline or volcanic dungeon
- Want a centrepiece display model with exceptional surface detail
- Are building a giant court with a queen at its head
- Love ambitious OSL and NMM painting challenges on a single sculpt
Encounter Hook: The party has climbed three days through the Ashpeak Mountains to reach the Cinderspire — the fire giant queen's fortress carved into an active caldera. They were promised an audience. What they find instead is the queen already on her feet, flame building in her right fist, her warhammer raised. The emissary they sent ahead is nowhere to be seen. Roll for initiative.
