Embernos is a Fire Elemi Crusader from DM Stash's War of the Elements collection — a heavily armoured elemental warrior mid-stride, cape billowing as tongues of conjured flame spiral along a brutal axe. The sculpt captures a figure caught between the mortal and the elemental: plate armour etched with crusader iconography, a great engraved kite shield slung across the back bearing a flame motif, and a masked helm that conceals whatever humanity may once have dwelled within. Eruptions of elemental fire claw upward from the base beneath every footfall, and the axe head blazes with twisting ribbons of fire energy — detail that rewards both the painter layering glazes and the collector displaying it unpainted on a shelf.
Mechanically, Embernos works brilliantly as an Azer champion, a fire archon, a Cleric or Paladin who has touched the Elemental Plane of Fire, or a flame-bound Oath of Conquest Paladin. For DMs, this is the kind of piece that changes the temperature of a room the moment you place it on the table.
An excellent choice for adventurers who:
- Need a commanding fire elemental or planar crusader for a boss encounter
- Are running campaigns set near volcanic regions, elemental rifts, or the City of Brass
- Play a fire-aspected Paladin, Cleric, or Fighter and want a miniature that matches
- Collect display-quality fantasy miniatures with strong paintable detail
Encounter Hook:
The party has tracked the source of the wildfire spreading across the Ashfeld Plains to a ruined temple — but rather than a natural blaze, they find Embernos standing over the altar, shield raised, axe burning, utterly still. It speaks only once: "You were warned not to return the Ember Crown to mortal hands." Roll for initiative.
Details
Printed at 32mm scale. The model and decorative base are supplied as separate pieces — the base features the elemental flame eruptions that interact closely with the figure's pose, so we strongly recommend attaching them with a small amount of superglue for the full effect. Supplied unprimed and unpainted, ready for your brushwork or striking displayed as grey resin.
