Finn is the kind of character who turns up at the worst possible moment and immediately becomes indispensable. Sculpted from the Great Grimoire Great Folks II collection, this young half-elf cuts a confident figure in layered wooden lamellar armour — each plank etched with natural grain detail that rewards a careful painter. He wears his hat with a dagger tucked through the band, rests a broadsword casually across his shoulder, and sports the sort of lopsided smile that suggests he knows exactly where your coin purse is. The sculpt captures both charm and capability: this is a character with a backstory already written in his posture.
Whether you're casting him as a scrappy young fighter making a name for himself, a rogue-adjacent sellsword with questionable loyalties, or the party's suspiciously well-informed contact in a new city, Finn brings genuine character to the table. He's equally at home on a gaming mat or on a display shelf where his expressive face and layered armour details can be properly appreciated.
Perfect for adventurers who:- Need a roguish young fighter or half-elf NPC with real personality
- Want a memorable quest-giver, rival, or street-level contact for urban campaigns
- Are building an adventuring party and need a charismatic front-liner
- Enjoy a sculpt with rich surface detail that paints up beautifully
- Collect character minis for display as well as gameplay
Encounter Hook:
The party asks around the market district for a reliable sword-for-hire, and three separate merchants point them towards the same name: Finn. They find him perched on a barrel outside the inn, sword over his shoulder, already watching them approach with that knowing smile — as if he'd been expecting them all along. The question is whether he's the ally they need, or whether someone sent him first.
Scale & Details:
Supplied at 32mm scale on a plain black round base, which is included separately and can be attached with a small amount of glue. A decorative base upgrade is also available — if selected, please send us a note to let us know which base style you'd like. The miniature arrives unpainted and support-free, ready for priming and painting, though it displays well straight out of the box too.
