Freya the Feared is a warrior sculpted in the grand Norse tradition: broad-shouldered plate layered over chainmail, a great double-headed axe etched with Celtic knotwork resting at her side, and a round shield bearing an intricate swirling boss design that speaks of old gods and older oaths. Her expression is calm, composed — the look of someone who has long since stopped fearing the fight. A decorative headband crowns her hair, her pauldrons are heavy with engraved detail, and her base is strewn with broken stonework, as though the earth itself cracked beneath her last stand.

She works equally well as a seasoned Barbarian PC charging into a frost-giant's hall, a Fighter war-captain commanding a shield wall, or a legendary NPC whose reputation reaches your players long before she does. The sculpt is rich with lore-legible detail — front and back — making her as rewarding to paint as she is to place on the table.

Well-suited for adventurers who:

  • Want a Norse or Viking-themed barbarian or fighter for their next campaign
  • Are building a Nordic, frozen-north, or warrior-tribe setting
  • Need a compelling named NPC, rival, or war-leader to drive their story forward
  • Collect detailed display pieces alongside their gaming minis

Encounter Hook:
The party arrives at the mead hall of Kolvaar's Rest to find it silent — every warrior seated, weapons sheathed, eyes fixed on the woman standing at the head of the table. Freya the Feared sets her axe on the boards with a slow, deliberate clang. She has a job for them. She is not asking twice.

Details

Supplied at 32mm scale. The figure and scenic base are separate pieces and can be attached with super glue — the base detail is sculpted to complement the pose, so we recommend using it together. The mini arrives unprimed and unpainted, ready for your brush or striking as a display piece straight from the box.
