Frida is a formidable fighter rendered in extraordinary detail, every inch of her sculpt telling the story of a warrior who has survived campaigns most soldiers wouldn't dare attempt. Her articulated armour — plated at the shoulders, greaved at the knees, and layered across the torso — speaks to years of hard-won experience rather than a blacksmith's fitting room. Goggles rest atop her braided hair, and cylinders are mounted at her back, hinting at an artificer's influence or a mercenary's practical ingenuity. She carries her polearm with the casual authority of someone who has used it before, and intends to again.
What makes this sculpt particularly distinctive is her base: a hulking, mechanised war platform bristling with spikes and crossbow bolts, a skull emblem bolted to its chassis. She stands atop it with one leg raised — not triumphant, but ready. Whether you're fielding her as a Battlemaster, an Arcane Archer, or a veteran NPC faction leader, Frida commands the table the moment she's placed on it. Equally at home in a display cabinet as on the battlemap, she's the kind of piece that stops mid-session conversations.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Need a powerful, visually distinctive fighter for their player character
- Want a named NPC with genuine presence — a rival, a mercenary captain, or a campaign-defining ally
- Are drawn to steampunk-adjacent or artificer-tinged fantasy aesthetics
- Collect display-quality miniatures that hold their own off the battlemat
Encounter Hook:
The party arrives at the contested city gate to find it already held — not by soldiers, but by a single figure perched atop a seized siege engine, crossbow bolts stripped and ready, goggles down. Frida doesn't ask who they're fighting for. She asks how much they're paying.
Frida is printed at 32mm scale. The model and base are supplied as separate pieces and can be fixed together using superglue — note that the sculpt is designed to interact with its decorative base, so attaching it is strongly recommended for the best visual result. Supplied unprimed and unpainted, ready for your brushes or striking as bare resin.
