Description

He does not raise his voice, nor draw a blade — he simply opens his hand, and the butterflies come, and somehow that is more frightening than any sword.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

Tharador is no battlefield warrior. He is something older and quieter — a figure of deep, unsettling knowing. This sculpt captures him seated on a mossy, weathered fallen log, long-haired and pointed-eared, clad in richly detailed plate armour with a layered cloak draped across his shoulders. In one raised hand he holds an extraordinary ornate staff — its head a flowing baroque curl adorned with delicate butterflies in mid-flight, each one individually sculpted with remarkable clarity. His expression carries the calm of someone who has already seen how this ends.

The integrated scenic base is exceptional in its own right: the fallen log is textured with wood grain and shelf fungi, surrounded by wild foliage, crystal-tipped plants, and rough stone — a forest clearing frozen in a moment of quiet communion between an ancient mind and the natural world. This is a miniature built for the display shelf as much as the gaming table, with depth and narrative visible from every angle.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Need a wise, morally ambiguous sage, oracle, or demigod NPC for their campaign
  • Are running a Feywild, ancient forest, or high-fantasy divine arc
  • Want a display piece that rewards close attention from every angle
  • Play elven Wizards, Druids, or Clerics seeking a characterful miniature

Encounter Hook:
The party has spent three sessions searching for the Oracle of the Verdant Throne — and they finally find him here, seated on a rotting log in an unremarkable glade, watching a butterfly land on his outstretched finger. He already knows why they've come. He's been expecting them since before their grandparents were born. Whether that is reassuring or deeply unsettling is, he suggests with a half-smile, entirely up to them.

Details

Supplied at 32mm scale. The figure and scenic base are separate pieces, designed to be attached with superglue — the two interact closely, so the base is very much part of the sculpt's story. Arrives unpainted and ready for priming. We inspect every piece before dispatch, though minor marks from the printing process are occasionally possible and can be cleaned up with ease.
