The Fate Weigher is a brooding, barrel-chested orc warlock — a figure who carries the weight of judgement literally and figuratively. His coat is adorned with skull motifs and heavy iron clasps, while one hand grips a blazing flame axe and the other holds aloft a towering staff crowned with a grinning skull and a set of balanced scales. Long white hair and a thick beard frame a weathered face full of grim purpose. This is a character who has made a pact not for power, but for authority over life and death itself.
Whether he serves as a cult leader, a wandering arbiter of some dark deity, or a former adventurer who sold his conscience for immortality, the Fate Weigher commands presence at any table. The sculpt from Great Grimoire is rich with detail — from the riveted leather armour to the swinging scale pan on the staff — making him equally compelling as a campaign antagonist or a centrepiece on the collector's shelf.
Perfect for adventurers who:
- Need a memorable orc warlock villain or morally ambiguous quest-giver
- Are building a death cult, thieves' guild leadership, or dark tribunal encounter
- Want a showpiece NPC that commands immediate player attention
- Collect fantasy miniatures with bold character and lore depth
Encounter Hook:
The party arrives at the crossroads village to find every inhabitant standing in silence before a towering orc, his scales swaying gently in the still air. He turns slowly, fixes them with a measured gaze, and declares: "You are late. The scales already know what you've done. The question is whether you can make them balance."
Details
Supplied at 32mm scale. The miniature arrives with components as shown — staff, axe, and body are separate pieces for easy assembly with super glue. Supports are removed before dispatch; as with all resin printing, minor marks may occasionally remain and can be cleaned up easily before priming. Supplied unpainted and ready for your brushwork.
