The False Hydra is one of tabletop gaming's most beloved homebrew horrors, and Great Grimoire's interpretation brings something genuinely unsettling to the table. This sculpt depicts the creature in the form of a graceful, robed figure — echoing the aesthetic of a court musician or wandering performer — while four distinct faces emerge from her silhouette: grinning, vacant, knowing, and nestled. A serpentine coil wraps the composition, giving the whole piece an uncanny elegance that makes it as compelling on a display shelf as it is dropped without warning in the middle of a village encounter.
The detail across the sculpt is exceptional — layered robes with flowing fabric, elaborate pinned hair on each head, and the lute clutched casually at her side as though nothing is wrong. Nothing is wrong. You don't remember the other heads. You never did.

Encounter Hook:

Tonight, when asked about his family, he looks confused — and in the square outside, a woman in robes is playing a lute, and one of the faces watching over her shoulder is wearing the innkeeper's wife's hairpin.
This miniature is scaled to 35mm. If you would prefer 32mm scaling, send us a message and we will adjust it for you. A decorative base option is available — if selected, please include a note specifying which of the three base styles you would like. The base (decorative or plain black) is supplied separately for easy attachment with glue.

We use Royal Mail Track48 for our Domestic parcel delivery. This provides you with a tracking number so that you can track your items on their way to you.
