Description

Once bound by sacred oaths, Yinsylim now walks a darker path — his armour etched with death runes, his blade wreathed in cursed flame, and his shield bearing the grinning skull of a god he no longer serves.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

Yinsylim is a character who carries the weight of betrayal in every detail of his sculpt. His crown-like helm bristles with jagged spines, and his pauldrons are draped in thick, beast-fur mantling — the remnants of a warrior who once stood for something. Now he bears a serrated, flame-edged longsword in one hand and a massive kite shield engraved with celtic knotwork and a death's-head in the other. This is a Fallen Paladin in the truest sense: a champion turned, his honour corroded but his martial power intact and terrifying.

Two variations of Yinsylim are shown here — a foot soldier pose with measured, advancing stride, and a mounted-scale version presented beside a towering armoured steed clad in matching runic barding and a vast shield of its own. Both share the same intricate detail work that makes this sculpt extraordinary as a boss encounter piece or a centrepiece for any dark fantasy display shelf.

Well-suited for adventurers who:

  • Need a Blackguard, Oathbreaker Paladin, or anti-paladin villain for their campaign
  • Want a memorable rival NPC whose arc mirrors or opposes the party's own story
  • Are running a dark fantasy, undead, or conquest-themed campaign and need a commanding presence
  • Collect display-quality miniatures with exceptional armour and weapon detailing

Encounter Hook:
The party arrives at the ruins of the Alabaster Cathedral expecting to find survivors — instead, they find Yinsylim kneeling in the centre of the nave, sword driven into the flagstones, utterly still. He does not turn when they enter. He only says: "I knew you'd come. He told me you would." The candles on the altar burn black. The doors seal behind you.

Details

Printed at 32mm scale. The miniature and decorative scenic base are supplied as separate pieces and are best assembled with cyanoacrylate (super glue). The base is designed to complement the model's pose and the two work together as a cohesive display piece. Supplied unpainted and ready for priming — some minor clean-up of print lines may be needed, and any residual support marks are easily tidied with a hobby knife.

The miniatures are made with care. The cats are made with attitude. Both are features, not bugs.

Works beautifully alongside undead hordes for complete Ravenloft campaigns — or explore more from DM Stash.
