Description

Once sworn to a solar deity, Yinsylim now walks a darker road — clad in the same sacred armour, bearing the same sun-emblazoned shield, but serving neither the light nor the innocent.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

Yinsylim is a masterclass in moral ambiguity made physical. This sculpt depicts a long-haired, sharp-featured warrior in intricately engraved plate armour — floral and geometric scrollwork etched across the breastplate, pauldrons, and greaves. The shield is the centrepiece: a large ceremonial disc bearing an embossed sun motif and radiating knotwork that speaks to a former devotion now twisted. In the opposite hand, a broad curved blade catches the light, its flat carved with further ornamental detail. A heavy cloth cape billows behind, adding weight and motion to what is otherwise a composed, measuring stance. Yinsylim is not charging — Yinsylim is deciding. That restraint is what makes this miniature so compelling on the table.

The textured rocky base, decorated with carved floral borders, grounds the figure beautifully and is designed to be used with the model rather than discarded — the two interact naturally as a composed display piece.

A fine choice for adventurers who:

  • Need a morally complex paladin — fallen, oathbreaker, or redeemed — as a player character
  • Want a memorable named NPC, rival, or faction commander with visual gravitas
  • Are building a campaign around a knightly order with a secret, a cult, or a broken covenant
  • Collect display-quality miniatures that reward a careful paint job

Encounter Hook:
The party has been tasked with hunting an oathbreaker paladin said to be raising militias in the border provinces — but when they finally corner Yinsylim in the ruins of his former temple, shield raised and blade steady, he tells them the god they both serve gave the order. He has the seal to prove it. Someone is lying, and the players need to decide who, right now, with Yinsylim's blade between them and the exit.

Details

Supplied at 32mm scale. The model and decorative base are separate pieces, designed to be joined with super glue — the sculpt and base interact closely, so we recommend keeping them together for the best display result. Crisp surface detail throughout makes this a rewarding miniature to paint, and it holds its own equally well as an unpainted gaming piece.
