Description

Where ancient wood meets the mycelium network, the forest floor tells stories older than the kingdoms above it.

  • ✔ Resin terrain piece, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted — primes and paints easily
  • ✔ Compatible with standard 28mm–32mm miniature scales
  • ✔ Works on the gaming table and as part of a display diorama

This fallen log scatter terrain piece captures the quiet drama of a woodland floor in miniature — a rotting trunk colonised by shelf fungi, clustered mushroom caps, and the gnarled remains of bark and thorns. The sculpt is rich with surface texture: deep bark grain, erupting shelf fungi along the sides, and a cluster of tall-capped toadstools rising from the far end like a tiny forest unto themselves. It reads immediately as a piece of wild, untamed terrain — the kind of log that might conceal a halfling rogue, mark the edge of a druid's sacred grove, or serve as cover during an ambush in the Feywild.

Whether you're building a dense woodland battle map, dressing the edges of a forest clearing encounter, or adding naturalistic detail to a diorama, this piece earns its space on the table. It sits low and horizontal, making it a practical line-of-sight blocker as well as an atmospheric scene-setter — and it paints up beautifully for display collectors who want a splash of forest character on their shelves.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Want grounded, naturalistic scatter terrain for forest or wilderness encounters
  • Are building Feywild, druid grove, or ancient woodland battle maps
  • Need low-profile terrain that doubles as cover and storytelling detail
  • Love painting fungal textures and organic bark surfaces
  • Are assembling display dioramas with a woodland or fantasy nature theme

Encounter Hook:
The ranger's map marks a standing stone somewhere in Thornmere Wood — but the trail has gone cold near a cluster of fallen logs thick with bioluminescent mushrooms. As the party crouches to examine the spores, the logs begin to shift. Something has been using them as a lair, and it is not pleased to have visitors.

Scaled to 32mm and sculpted with gaming and display use in mind. The piece is ready for priming and painting straight out of the box, and looks characterful even left unpainted. Minor imperfections from the printing process are possible; any remaining support marks are easily cleaned up. Fully cured and ready for your table.
