Description

Where great halls once stood, only broken pillars remain — and something old has made its home among the rubble.

  • ✔ Resin terrain piece, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted — primes and paints easily
  • ✔ Compatible with standard 28mm–32mm miniature scales
  • ✔ Works on the gaming table and as part of a display diorama

The third variation in Novaminis' Fallen Columns scatter terrain range, this piece depicts a cluster of shattered and tumbled stone columns in various states of collapse — some segments still stacked upright in a jagged tower, others rolled and settled at the base. The sculpt captures the chaotic weight of architectural ruin: deep stress fractures run along the column shafts, the broken ends are rough and uneven, and the whole arrangement feels as though it toppled in a single catastrophic moment and has been undisturbed ever since.

As the third variant in the series, this piece offers a denser, more vertical silhouette than its companions — making it well suited as a centrepiece obstruction on the battlefield or a focal point within a larger ruined-temple diorama. The irregular heights create useful line-of-sight blocking on the gaming table, and the layered detail rewards careful drybrushing and washes to bring out the worn stone texture.

Whether you are staging a climactic showdown in a collapsed temple, building out a ruined city district, or assembling a display diorama of forgotten civilisations, this piece earns its place on the table.

Great for adventurers who:

  • Need atmospheric scatter terrain for dungeon, ruin, or wilderness encounters
  • Want line-of-sight blocking that looks natural and battle-worn
  • Are building a ruined temple, collapsed citadel, or ancient graveyard set
  • Enjoy painting stonework — this piece rewards drybrushing and layered washes
  • Want a terrain piece that transitions from the gaming table to a display shelf

Encounter Hook: The paladin's divination pointed here — the Orb of Endings, sealed beneath the ruins of the Solarian Basilica. But as the party picks their way through the tumbled columns, a low vibration hums through the stonework. Something beneath the rubble is waking up, and the columns are rearranging themselves.
