The Exiled is a figure carved by suffering and stripped of identity. Barefoot, hollow-cheeked, and draped in ragged cloth, he carries heavy chains not as shackles but as weapons — the last things they could not take from him. His long, lank hair falls across sunken features, and his eyes carry the cold distance of someone who has long since stopped fearing what comes next. This is a man expelled from court, coven, or civilisation — and what returned from that exile is something altogether harder to name.
Whether he serves as a disgraced noble driven to vengeance, a cursed monk whose order cast him out, or the cult's most dangerous experiment, The Exiled brings a specific, lived-in tragedy to the table. The chains are everywhere — looped across his chest, trailing from his hands, dragging at his ankles — and every link suggests a story. For DMs who want their villains and NPCs to feel like survivors rather than monsters, this sculpt does the storytelling work before a word is spoken.
Crafted for adventurers who:
- Need a tortured villain or morally ambiguous NPC with visual backstory
- Are running gothic, horror, or dark political campaigns
- Want a striking display piece that rewards a careful paint job
- Are building a cult, prison break, or exiled-king encounter
- Appreciate sculpts that carry atmosphere without relying on gore
Encounter Hook:
The party's contact in the city hasn't shown up — instead they find a note, unsigned, directing them to the old foundry at midnight. When they arrive, a lean figure steps from the shadows, chains hanging loose from his wrists, and explains in a quiet voice that the contact is dead, he knows who did it, and he will only help them if they swear — on something real — that they will not try to stop what he does next.
