Description

It drifts from the darkness without a sound, its single great eye gleaming with antimagic malice, ten stalks swaying like the arms of something that has never once known fear.

  • ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
  • ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
  • ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
  • ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf

The Eye Tyrant is one of D&D's most iconic aberrations — a floating sphere of ego, ambition, and concentrated magical destruction. This sculpt by Monster Atlas captures the creature in full menacing detail: a heavily textured, scale-covered orb body, a wide central eye with a deeply recessed iris, a broad maw packed with irregular jagged teeth, and ten eye stalks radiating outward each tipped with a bulbous, spell-laden orb. Every fold of skin around that grinning mouth reads as contemptuous intelligence — this is a creature that knows it is the most dangerous thing in the room, and it wants you to know it too.

Whether you're running it as the tyrant of an Underdark crime syndicate — Xanathar and his beloved goldfish in tow — or as an ancient aberrant horror that has claimed a dungeon for centuries, this miniature brings the presence the encounter demands. Equally at home on a game table or a display shelf, it's the kind of piece that draws eyes (appropriately enough) the moment it hits the mat.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Need a centrepiece BBEG for an Underdark or dungeon-crawl campaign arc
  • Are running Waterdeep: Dragon Heist or any Xanathar-adjacent storyline
  • Want a visually commanding boss monster to anchor a set-piece encounter
  • Collect aberrations or iconic D&D monster miniatures for display
  • Enjoy a serious painting challenge — those eye stalks reward fine detail work

Encounter Hook:
The party has been tracking the thieves' guild for three sessions, following a trail of extortion, disappearances, and one very peculiar ransom note about a goldfish. When they finally breach the inner sanctum beneath the city, they find not a crime lord at a desk, but a vast spherical silhouette rotating slowly in the dark — and ten eyes that were already watching the door before they opened it.
