Eye Tyrant (Beholder) 04 by Yasashii Kyojin Studios
Description
No eyes. No central orb. Just a heaving knot of flesh, tentacles, and chitinous teeth — something older and stranger than any Beholder you've faced before.
- ✔ 32mm scale resin miniature, printed fresh to order in the UK
- ✔ Supplied unpainted and ready to prime
- ✔ Compatible with D&D, Pathfinder, and all tabletop RPGs
- ✔ Equally at home on the gaming table or the display shelf
This is the fourth variant in our Eye Tyrant range from Yasashii Kyojin Studios, and it takes a deliberately unsettling approach to one of D&D's most iconic aberrations. Where the classic Beholder bristles with eyestalks and a central gaze, this sculpt presents something far more alien — a coiling, tumorous mass of interlocked limbs and fleshy appendages with a gaping maw nestled in the folds. It's the kind of creature that makes your players ask, nervously, whether it's even the same species. It is. Probably.
Details
At 37mm tall, this is a weighty table presence that suits a boss encounter or a deeply wrong random dungeon encounter in equal measure. Whether you paint it in sickly purples and necrotic greens or leave it primed for a monochromatic horror effect, the surface detail — every wrinkle, every fold, every unsettling ridge — rewards careful brushwork. Equally at home on a display shelf as on a battlemap.
Suited to adventurers who:
- Run Underdark campaigns and want encounters that genuinely unsettle their players
- Are building a Beholder lair with multiple aberrant variants
- Want a show-stopping centrepiece for a high-CR aberration encounter
- Collect across the Yasashii Kyojin Studios Eye Tyrant range
- Paint display pieces and want a sculpt with exceptional organic texture detail
Encounter Hook:
The party has tracked the aboleth's lieutenant to a flooded antechamber — but the creature that drops from the ceiling is nothing like the sketches in the wizard's bestiary. No eyes are visible. No central orb. Just a lurching, fleshy mass that somehow already knows which of them is the most afraid.
Printed at 37mm scale. Supplied unpainted and unprimed in grey resin, ready for painting or use straight from the box. The mini is printed to the high-detail tolerances Yasashii Kyojin Studios' sculpts demand. Minor support marks may occasionally be present and are easily cleaned up before painting.
