This is the second sculpt in our Eye Tyrant range from Novaminis, and it brings a distinctly more armoured, battle-hardened quality to the classic beholder. Where others might present a fleshy, organic aberration, this variant is covered in overlapping chitinous plates, protruding spines, and ridged, scale-like skin that suggest something ancient and almost mechanical in its menace. The central eye is wide and unblinking, framed by a gaping maw lined with irregular, dagger-like teeth. Ten eye stalks radiate outward, each tipped with a bulbous orb, fully detailed and distinct — this is a creature that has seen everything, forgotten nothing, and hates you specifically.

Whether you're running a Underdark campaign arc, introducing a paranoid lair boss with a grudge against all arcane users, or simply want a centrepiece miniature that commands a shelf, this sculpt earns its place. Encounter Hook:
The party has been tracking a string of missing arcane researchers, each last seen entering the lower reaches of the Sunken Vaults. Now, in a chamber where the walls are lined with preserved eyes in glass jars, a voice fills the room — not from one direction, but from everywhere at once. The creature that drifts into view is not what the ranger's bestiary described. This one has been here far longer, and it has been making improvements to itself.

Scaled to 32mm. Available with or without a plain black base — the base is unattached and can be fixed with a small amount of glue. Supplied unpainted and ready for priming. As with all hand-finished prints, minor surface marks are possible; these are easily addressed before painting.
