They said the Artificers' Guild merely studied the giants — they didn't say what happened to the ones that survived the experiments.

Duragdor is no ordinary cyclops. Where most of his kin lumber through mountain passes clad in furs and instinct, Duragdor bears the unmistakable marks of captivity and dark experimentation: plated armour bolted across his massive frame, iron cuffs trailing broken chains from his wrists, and tally marks scarred into the flesh above his single glowing eye. Whatever counted those marks, it stopped counting long before he did. A spiked club of gnarled wood sits in one meaty fist, rubble and shattered helmets scattered at his feet — evidence that whatever held him learned too late that it couldn't hold him forever.

The sculpt captures Duragdor mid-stride, hunched forward with that distinctive cyclops lurch, his free hand reaching outward as if grasping for the next obstacle between him and freedom. The bolted pauldrons and segmented plate armour speak to a creator with both resources and ambition. The decorative base features broken stonework and a shackled mushroom-like figure, adding narrative context that rewards painters and collectors who take the time to look closely. Whether he's a boss encounter clawing out of a mad artificer's dungeon or a freed horror wandering the wilderness seeking revenge, Duragdor carries a story in every scarred inch of him.

Perfect for adventurers who:

  • Need a formidable Giant-category boss monster with a built-in backstory
  • Are running campaigns involving artificers, arcane experiments, or escaped horrors
  • Want a cyclops encounter that goes well beyond the cave-and-boulder stereotype
  • Are building display collections of large creature miniatures
  • Love painting large-scale pieces with layered textures — armour, scarred flesh, matted hair, and chained iron all in one sculpt

Encounter Hook:
The party is hired to track down a creature that destroyed a fortified waystation on the road east. When they find the wreckage, they discover it was a research outpost — and the cages inside were built to hold something enormous. Scratched into the wall in crude letters: DURAGDOR REMEMBERS EVERY FACE. The chain drag marks lead north. They are fresh.

Details

Supplied at 32mm scale. The model and scenic base are separate pieces designed to be attached with superglue — note that Duragdor interacts directly with the base scenery, so it's well worth keeping them together. A few minor print marks may occasionally be present and are easily tidied up before priming. Fully cured and ready for your brush.
